LEts get outside

It is  easy to forget how good it feels to move outside when the wind is howling and the temperatures read below freezing.  We challenge you to break free of the fear of the cold and join us on an outdoor workshop in one of our local wooded parks.

Meditation, movement and stretching are some of the juicy goodness that will be integrated into our time outside.

FEBRUARY - Workshop will focus on being present in the here and now, bringing in a warming practices of Qigong, a 1 km hike through Point Pelee, followed by a fireside guided mediation. This is 100% outdoors come enjoy the crisp February air, nature and nurture yourself with something a little bit different.

*you will need to bring a camp chair for this event*

MARCH- focus and location are to be determined, if you have a suggestion of what you would like, send us a note via the link.

*Space is limited*

Who are your Guides to the winter wonderland

Russell Yoshida

Russell Yoshida began his career in the healing arts in 1997, when he was introduced to Massage Therapy. Successfully becoming a Registered Massage Therapist, he has worked professionally for over 20 years.

While treating his diverse client group, Russell discovered that in order to access the deepest levels of healing, more was required of him as a practitioner. He furthered his education in 2003, studying Traditional Chinese Medicine, in Victoria, British Columbia. From his studies, he gained an in depth understanding of the energetic system of the body.

He developed a unique technique, which bridges the gap between Eastern and Western philosophies, to assist in harmonizing the body’s physical and energetic systems.

After integrating this knowledge with his experience, Russell’s therapy evolved again to incorporate movement- a vital element to facilitate stress release. Russell’s passion is helping others on their healing journey and he is constantly learning and evolving while offering the utmost in compassionate, patient care.

Sarah Simone

Sarah began her career in health care and wellness in 2006 as a Registered Massage Therapist. Since the start, she has discovered many tools and methods to promote wellness and compliment her massage therapies from yoga instruction, osteopathic manipulations, Ayurvedic practices, myofascial release and now finding ways to connect with nature.

Sarah's adventurous spirit has taken her far and wide, with her professional practice working in clinics and spas internationally and now pursuing a degree in Recreation & Leisure, specialising in the outdoors.
