Escape the digital world and reconnect with nature and yourself. Slow it down, and travel through windswept white pines along historical trade routes and the original highways of Canada. Paddling along the French River down into Georgian Bay, this route provides a peaceful escape into nature during summer.
The journey will also include various holistic therapies such as yoga, meditation and journaling to assist in the attunement to nature and a more mobile you.

Nutritional needs are exceeded with a carefully planned menu designed to meet individual dietary requirements. All meals are prepared by your guides and hosts on the river. You just need to sit back and enjoy.

We will be paddling a loop from Hartley Bay that will take us down the Western Channel with the option to spend one night on Georgian Bay and exploring the beautiful islands before heading back up the Main Channel. The route is a total of approximately 55kms which we will do over 5 days.

Bring your belongings in any bag you like. Upon meeting our guides, there will be opportunity to transfer your belongings into water tight barrels provided. This will ensure your clothing and items will stay dry no matter the weather.
Yes, and no. Many campsites we stay at do have open-air wooden box outhouses called a thunderbox or keyboard.
In many cases there will be no thunderbox. Our guides have a system in place which will be thoroughly explained and set up by guides at each campsite. Depending on the landscape and location there systems will be slightly different.
If you would like to bring alcoholic beverages to enjoy with dinner or around the campfire it is permitted. No glass containers allowed.
It can be difficult to figure out how much of a gratuity is appropriate for your guides. This is a very common question, and therefore MHO Adventures has worked with industry partners to create a guideline. Any form of gratuity is greatly appreciated and by no means expected.
